Sharon Davis is the powerhouse behind Dales PR & Marketing: “I love helping businesses raise their profile and reputation whether that’s through a focused public relations campaign, strong and engaging editorial content or marketing support.
I started my career in BBC local radio news in 2005, followed by a few other journalism roles before venturing into PR and then self-employment. It’s this first-hand industry knowledge that informs how I create messages, my editorial judgement and understanding of audience behaviour.
I lived in South London most of my life and now live in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales where I’ve been for four years. Admittedly, it’s an unusual combination, but this is what has given me the edge to represent voices that aren’t often heard, whether that’s a business leader from an ethnically diverse background or a dynamic and successful rural business that has never had access to a media platform.
This same passion to provide a platform for businesses, led me to create Dales Business Women which is a business networking group for rurally-based professional and self-employed women.
